Situated in the popular South Bank of the river Thames, the London Aquarium is to be found within the historic County Hall Building. A stones throw away from the London Eye, Westminster Bridge, Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament it is surrounded by some of London’s most iconic features.
The London aquarium is one of the biggest displays of marine and aquatic life in Europe, it is home to 500 different species of marine life in over 50 displays including, the aquarium itself, abstract, Atlantic Ocean, Coral Reef, Indian Ocean, Invertebrates, Pacific Ocean, Temperate Waters, Rainforest, Mangroves and many more. Some of the species included in the displays are sharks, stingrays, clownfish, moray eels, lionfish and even sideways walking crabs.
With tickets for children under the age of three for no cost, and adults costing just £13.25, the London aquarium is an affordable day out in London for all the family.
